you may know that we've been deviled by a glitch with the new server since our move in june (this is me pulling my hair out and gnashing my teeth).

it was a huge problem for people on ie6 (like me) and some other browsers that would randomly present a blank white page with a four digit number in the top right and corner or lovely chunks of mysql errors.

anyhoo... chris made a few changes to the server this evening and from where i'm sitting (a lovely non-foggy san francisco evening with a warm chihuahua in my lap) the problems seem to have been solved.

if you have experienced this problem in the past could you take a moment and bang away on the site for me? i'd love further corroboration that we've finally managed to win at whack a mole! (keeping fingers, toes, arm and legs crossed in hope)
