from HCHAMP. 10 worst painting !! is beauty in all details anything more ,Pre-Raphaelite,they search only beauty ,dreams, colour and for people who never read tales tons of tales with kings and princess,knigths etc etc maybe nauseating,maybe we have to see his-her own outcome in photography,and other disciplines ...

You might guess that one of my favourite genres of paintings would be the Pre-Raphaelites. I made a pilgrimmage to one of the best Pre-Raphaelite galleries in England (in Manchester) back in the late 70s (of the last century), and sat for probably 30 minutes in front of this painting, my fave by Waterhouse:

By the way, it's HUGE -- probably 10 feet high by 20 feet wide.
